Meet the Designer

Lumière de Genève is a small family-and-friends business from Geneva. A young couple, Erika and Ouissem, lead it: Ouissem hand-pours every candle and creates the scents, Erika looks after the design, and family and friends chip in wherever they can.

Water jasmine, coconut and citrus, a heart of white flowers and tuberose, then sandalwood, vanilla and amber – Caresse Sucrée is soft, sunny and gently sweet. Poured by hand in Geneva by Erika and Ouissem, the young couple behind Lumière de Genève.

  • Scent family: woody, floral, green
  • Top notes: water jasmine, coconut, citrus
  • Heart notes: white flowers, tuberose, lily of the valley
  • Base notes: sandalwood, vanilla, amber
  • Weight: 200 g
  • Burn time: approx. 35 hours
  • Composition: fragrance, soy wax, natural stones and flowers; one wooden wick
  • Fragrance: CMR-free, phthalate-free; contains vanillin
  • Vessel: reusable metal tin
  • Made: by hand in Geneva by Lumière de Genève; the brand describes its candles as vegan
  • Good to know: as the wax is 100% plant-based, it may change colour after burning.
  • Care: remove the flowers and stones before lighting; on first use, burn for about 3 hours to avoid tunnelling; read the safety label underneath the candle.
