Meet the Designer

Bon Dep is Norwegian and family-run — the name comes from bon (good in French) and dep (pretty in Vietnamese). For over a decade the family has designed accessories that sit where Scandinavian simplicity meets French craftsmanship.

The acetate is moulded and then assembled by hand in France, by people with long traditions in the material. Nothing overcomplicated. Just pieces made to last — because the best way to reduce waste is to make something you never want to replace.

Bon Dep's Love Hair Claw is shaped in looping cursive — the word "love" rendered in solid acetate — and it holds as well as it looks. At 8cm it works on a full bun, a half-up or a loose twist without slipping by midday. Hand-assembled in France from 100% cellulose acetate, with a strong spring mechanism. One of those small things that quietly improves your morning.
