A long wool-blend coat in anthracite is the piece we reach for again and again in winter. The Alva Loisa is double-breasted with notch lapels, and it has a removable high collar that zips on when it's cold and comes off when it's milder. The dark anthracite is easy to wear with everything.

Styling tip: Wear it open over a fine knit and wide trousers, or closed over a dress with knee boots.
