Founded in 1999 by sustainable fashion pioneer Claudia Lanius, LANIUS creates timeless pieces that combine feminine design with responsible production. Today, Claudia works alongside her daughter Annabelle Homann, continuing the brand's family-led vision for sustainable fashion.

Jeans with pleats sounded unusual to us at first, then we tried them. LANIUS makes them in GOTS-certified organic cotton with a relaxed cut, and the front pleats shape the waist, so the denim looks almost tailored. The mid blue is a classic that works with everything in your wardrobe.

Styling tip: Wear them with a tee and sneakers day to day, a blouse and loafers for the office, or a fine knit and ankle boots when it gets colder.

  • Composition: 100% organic cotton, GOTS-certified
  • Fit: relaxed cut with front pleats
  • Washing: gentle wash inside out with similar colours, mild detergent without bleach
  • Drying & ironing: hang to dry; do not tumble dry; iron inside out, max. 150°C
  • Care: residual shrinkage up to 3%; may transfer colour to light textiles
  • Made in: Turkey, fair production
