Meet the Designer

Atelier Bagatelle began with Anne and a simple love of making. From her studio in Geneva, she crochets, lines and finishes every piece by hand — a slow, considered way of working where nothing is rushed and no two are quite the same. Born from her creative energy, each piece has its own character, made to be with you for years.

In denim blue, the Erica bag is the relaxed one of the family. The fabric is quilted with a hooked stitch, which gives it a soft, slightly raised texture. At about 29 × 7 × 19 cm, with a 60 cm strap, there's room for your phone, keys and daily essentials. Atelier Bagatelle founder Anne makes each bag by hand in Geneva; if it's sold out, the atelier can take a pre-order.

Styling tip: Carry it with a white shirt and chinos at the weekend, or with a striped dress and sandals for a summer lunch.
