Meet the Designer

Minorquines was founded in 2012 by French creator Anne to share the Menorcan avarca tradition with a contemporary touch. The sandals are made in Spain, in a family-run traditional workshop whose love of shoes goes back to 1929.

Step into summer with a pair of bright and happy Avarca Glitter Azul Sandals from Minorquines! These Menorcan sandals feature soft nappa leather, rubber sole with tyre-tread print, and a heel strap to keep your foot in place.

Styling tip: Wear them with white jeans and a striped top, or with a white summer dress.

  • Colour: dark blue glitter
  • Upper: soft nappa leather
  • Sole: rubber with tyre-tread print
  • Heel: 5 mm
  • Care: remove dust with a brush or a soft, dry cloth; nourish the leather now and then with a natural wax

Available in sizes 36, 37 and 40. Minorquines advises choosing your exact size, as the leather adapts to your foot. With half sizes, go down for narrow feet and up for wider feet.
