Meet the Designer

Nubikk is a Dutch shoe label from Waalwijk, the town known as the Netherlands' home of the shoe. Since 2012 it has designed sneakers, boots, slip-ons and moccasins around one idea: shoes that feel light on your feet and still look sharp.

The Buxton Basket takes its look from skate and basketball shoes, and we like how easy it is to wear. The upper is white sand nubuck leather with a perforated toecap and sides, finished with thick flat cotton laces and golden eyelets. Inside there's a mesh lining and a removable insole, and the lightweight EVA sole keeps it comfortable. Handmade in Portugal.

Styling tip: Wear them with cropped jeans and a striped shirt for a city day, or with a midi skirt and a denim jacket at the weekend.
